Biography

Mike has been playing baseball for as long as he can remember. He grew up in Pearl River, New York - a small a town 25 miles north of New York City. He played for the Pearl River Pirates throughout High School and was captain of his team playing center field. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he played through the fall for 3 years with the Penn State Club baseball team. After undergraduate, he decided to dedicate his time fully into Chiropractic College with a 3 year hiatus from baseball and decided to break that in 2017 when joining the Atlanta Blue Sox.
Interesting Fact: I don't think I would be playing baseball today if it wasn't for chiropractic. I herniated my disc when I was 10 years old after I slid into the catcher stealing home (I was safe at least). I was bedridden for 3 months and never thought I would play again. I received regular chiropractic adjustments and that is the sole reason why I believe I played after that event. That happening to me actually motivated me to become a better player and never let anything be a crutch. I feel that is where I get my character and hustle from. Also, because of that event, I decided to become a chiropractor.

Fun Fact

The fastest baseball ever thrown anywhere is usually credited to Cleveland Indian pitcher Bob Feller. In 1946, he threw a fastball at 107.9 mph during a pitching display at Griffith Field. The Guinness Book of World Records sites a 2010 pitch by Aroldis Chapman as the fastest, at 105.1 mph during a Reds’ game against the San Diego Padres.
